On January 11, 2022, a total 590 eligible rice farmers gathered at Daet Agro Sports Center and receive P5,000.00 Rice Farmers Financial Assistance of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through Provincial Governor Edgardo A. Tallado. Staff from the regional, provincial and municipal agriculture offices join forces to ease problems that may arise and are ready to assist farmers in completing the required documents that may be required by the releasing entity. A total of P2,950,000.00 was released for Sta. Elena alone.
The eligible farmers that were given are those rice farmers registered and encoded in the RSBSA and tilling rice area with two hectares or below.
