The pictures were taken last December 3, 2021 during the session 3 of Aftercare Program to persons who used drugs. On the picture was PCp1 Ronnel Cabate giving his message to the participants. The Municipality of Santa Elena have a total of 496 PWUDs wherein as of December 2021 there were 351 completed the program, 45 were issued barangay certification to those PWUDs not located in the areas, 7 were deceased and 93 for continuous aftercare program. Out of 19 barangays, 5 were unaffected barangays, 8 were declared cleared barangays, 1 barangay was submitted for deliberation and the remaining 6 barangays needs to complete the aftercare program. Some of the PWUDs were not able to attend the sessions because they were lockdown in Manila and were not able to go home because of the restrictions in travelling and high cost of fares.
The Aftercare Program had a total budget of Php 100,000.00 for the year 2021 and the total expenses was Php 93,309.00 (88,500.00 for meals and 4,809.00 for supplies). It was facilitated by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
